Dancers from SRL Irish Dance will be performing throughout the day, with dances at 2 & 3. They’re so excited for their first performance with us, where dancers attending the North American Irish Dance Championships in Vancouver, Canada will be bringing this taste of Ireland to life with their fancy footwork. Dancers will be traveling to Vancouver in July after qualifying to the top level of competitive Irish dance and we’d love for you to support the dancers in a raffle. See you on St. Patrick’s Day!
SRL Irish Dance, founded by Courtney Jay TCRG, opened in July 2014 in South Windsor, CT and has since grown to over 120 students from all over Central CT, Western MA, and beyond. The school now has two locations, the main studio in South Windsor, CT and a satellite location in Farmington, CT. Classes are available all year round for children ages 3 and up, as well as adults. In the children’s program students start in a beginner class according to their age and work their way through the curriculum of basic steps and techniques. Along the way dancers are encouraged to participate in performances to entertain audiences all over CT and MA– with their lively steps you just can’t help but clap along! Students who enjoy performing and are ready to compete also have the option to enter Irish dancing competitions called a “feis” to climb from local beginner level all the way through the World Championships.
