The Auburn Mode is a cornerstone of the Hartford area music scene . With influences as diverse as the list of local acts they support, their music ranges from poignant and evocative to light and whimsical…an original fusion of progressive and energetic folk pop!
The band enjoys performing a wide variety of covers by Van Morrison, Tom Petty, Bob Marley and The Police. Fan favorites include their reggae takes on Neil Young’s classic Harvest Moon, or U2’s Trip Through Your Wires. They have also been known to cover some bluegrass by Sam Bush or Railroad Earth, just as often as funk tunes by Bill Withers or Phish.
